The Negrosanon Young Leaders Institute (NYLI) officially became part of the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office’s (PCSO) Institutional Partnership Program (IPP) after receiving a grant amounting to P766,000.00 from the PCSO Negros Occidental Branch on Monday, January 26, 2026.
The grant turnover marked NYLI’s official immersion into the IPP, strengthening its capacity to deliver programs focused on the protection, healing, and empowerment of vulnerable individuals in Negros Occidental.
Present during the activity were NYLI officials Margaret de Asis, Health and Well-Being Program Officer; Jomar Borromeo, NYLI Program Director; and Kevin Gaitan, NYLI Executive Director. Representing the PCSO Negros Occidental Branch were Cornelio Vicente Umilin, Administrative Officer III, and Johna Penaga, Social Welfare Officer II.
NYLI currently serves 260 clients, primarily survivors of abuse, neglect, exploitation, and violence. Through the support provided under the IPP, the organization aims to further expand its initiatives, including the establishment of safe spaces for mental wellness, recovery, and the delivery of sustained psychological support services.
The partnership with NYLI underscores the agency’s continued commitment to supporting grassroots organizations dedicated to safeguarding the well-being of at-risk communities.
Through IPP, PCSO offers a life-changing collaboration by assisting qualified institutions and non-government organizations in implementing projects that address health and social welfare concerns.
