The Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO), headed by General Manager Melquiades Robles, formally turned over ChariTimba food packs, medical devices, and rescue and emergency kits to the Municipality of Santa Rosa, Nueva Ecija on January 22, 2026.
Mayor Christopher Aguilar personally visited the PCSO Main Office in Mandaluyong to receive the assistance and expressed his gratitude, noting that the donated items would benefit the municipality and its residents. He said the support would help strengthen the local government’s capacity to respond to emergencies and address the needs of constituents, especially during disasters.
The ChariTimba packages included canned goods, noodles, coffee, and rice. The rescue and emergency items consisted of weighing scales, first aid kits, blood pressure apparatuses, nebulizers, thermal scanners, pulse oximeters, trauma bags, oxygen tanks with regulators, handheld stretchers, and life jackets.
The activity forms part of PCSO’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Program, which provides inclusive and meaningful assistance to communities nationwide. The program also supports local governments by helping enhance disaster preparedness and promoting the timely delivery of aid to communities in need.
