WHEN you do the right thing – I will praise you. When you do something wrong, especially when farmers are involve -oppressed and abused – you’ll get the ire of the tiger.
Finally, the long -awaited “allowance” or payment as promised by Universal Leaf Philippines to the tobacco growers they contracted – has been paid.
Last week, the farmers from Isabela, who sought the help of BITAG confirmed that they have been paid for their hard work.
I hope that this will not be the usual case for our farmers, where they have to beg to the powers-that-be just to be compensated.
BITAG will always be with our farmers to defend and assist them against abuses and oppression.
Now that the Universal Leaf Philippines honored its commitment to the Angadanan tobacco growers the ‘roar of the tiger’ will cease on this issue.
Many thanks to the Municipality of Angadanan Isabela, to the Philippine Tobacco Administration and especially to Universal Leaf Philippines for delivering your commitment to the farmers – though late, it’s happy ending.
BITAG is done on this case.

Next target who got the ‘ire of the tiger’ – the sacred cows of Sky Ranch in Busuanga, Palawan.
Pray to high heavens, Sky Ranch management, act now or be sorry later.
