Kurt Matthew Teves may have manifested his resignation, but Negros Oriental Vice Governor Edward Mark Macias reveals they have yet to receive an official copy of his resignation.
On his Facebook post, yesterday, March 28, Vice Governor Edward Mark Macias released an official statement from his office.
“We have received numerous queries regarding the status of Board Member Kurt Matthew Teves,” Macia said.
“On March 23, 2022, Board Member Kurt Matthew Teves publicly announced his resignation from the Sanggunian but as of this date, we have yet to receive an official copy of his resignation,” he added.

The Office of the Vice Governor also stressed that they will not condone any acts of violence after Teves was caught on video punching a security guard in Las Piñas City.
Teves resigned from his post last March 23, following the advice of his uncle, Bayawan Mayor Pryde Henry Teves and his father, Congressman Arnulfo Arnie Teves.
