BEN TULFO VOWS JUSTICE FOR JOMAR PAJARES UNTIL THE END

BITAG Multimedia Network (BMN) President and CEO Ben Tulfo vowed to continue to defend Jomar Pajares, the poor security guard who suffered too much trauma after being mauled, made to kneel and kicked while pleading for mercy by Kurt Matthew Teves, the son of Congressman Arnie Teves.

“Marami ang nag-aabang sa labis na pang-aapi at labis na pang-aabuso, pinag push-up, tinutukan ng baril. this is grave oppression by a son of a Congressman”, Ben Tulfo said.

Ben Tulfo also lambasted netizens and “wannabe-lawyers” who tried to deflect the issue and question the show’s format and no-holds barred style of public service.

“Marami ang nag-aabang kung ito ba ay totohanan o baka isang palabas lang para sa BITAG,” Ben Tulfo said .

“May mga iba diyan wannabe-lawyers that seem to be na nagtuturo pa sila o trying to analyze a case na hindi pa man nasasampa ang kaso, yung isa diyan nagmamagaling na abogado. ang sinasabi hanggang dyan lang yan bla bla bla, huwag daw pumunta sa mga programa na kapareho ng public service ng BITAG. yun ang sabi ng cheap-pipay na abugado,” he explained .

Ben Tulfo noted that BITAG will deploy top notch and prominent lawyers to elevate the investigation in court and make sure that justice will be served to Pajares.

“Ako mismo nagsasabi, magtiwala tayo sa sa sinasabing due process at sa batas natin. pero kung titignan mo, minsan hindi ganun kadali sabihin, I’ll be more realistic tulad ng sinasabi ng iba, sa totoo lang mauuwi ‘yan sa korte,” he said.

“Hindi ito trial by publicity. Pumasok sa atin ang kaso, kaya dinepensahan natin, Tulfo explained.

Esguerra and Blanco Law Offices will be representing Pajares in court. In a statement, BLES condemned any act of violence or oppression against marginalized laborers and frontliners like Pajares.

“Umpisa hanggang sa matapos, tatayo tayo. Hindi pipitsugin ang law firm na ‘to,” Ben Tulfo said.

Ben Tulfo also assured the public that he will continue to stand on the rights of Jomar Pajares and he compared it to a tale of “David and Goliath” where an “ordinary” citizen will try to contend with a very powerful political clan.

“Marami ang nakatingin dito. Dito natin makikita kung hanggang saan ang the power of the politiko, tulad nitong mapang abuso na anak ng isang kilalang pulitiko”, Ben Tulfo said.

“Dito makikita natin ang labanan ng David at Goliath. Paano ba namatay si Goliath? Slingshot lang ni David. That’s the message.” Ben Tulfo concluded.
