Henry Capangpangan, a private security guard in Upper Carmen, Cagayan De Oro sought BITAG’s help after he was threatened and intimidated by a village visitor where Henry is assigned.
“NUNG HINDI KO PO SIYA PINAPASOK SIR, NAGALIT PO SIYA – NARINIG KO PO SIYA NA KINASA NIYA ANG BARIL” Henry told BITAG.
SG Henry forwarded to BITAG a copy of a CCTV footage revealing parts of the alleged incident.
According to Henry, the visitor wanted to enter the village but failed to provide details on the identity of the person that he will visit.
“GINAWA KO LANG PO ANG AKING TRABAHO BILANG ISANG SECURITY GUARD, HINDI PO KAMI PWEDE MAGPAPASOK NG TAO NA HINDI NILA KILALA ANG PUPUNTAHAN NILA” Henry told BITAG.
When Henry declined the request of the visitor, the visitor got mad and verbally attacked the security guard.
“NAGAGALIT PO SIYA SA AKIN, SINABIHAN NIYA AKO NG “PUT****NA MO!”, PAULIT-ULIT NIYA PO AKONG MINURA TAPOS PO KINASA NIYA YUNG BARIL NIYA, NILABAS PO NIYA YUNG BARIL NIYA AT TINUTOK SA AKIN” Henry told BITAG.
The visitor left an identification card at the guard house, according to Henry the name was a certain “Bernie Bang-Bang Lagbas”.
Henry told BITAG that he is being supported by the Home Owners Association.
During the public service program, Mr. Ben Tulfo tried to call Mr. Lagbas’ contact number, the man who answered the call claimed that he is not Mr. Lagbas said that he is the brother.
In the name of fair journalism, BITAG still awaits for Mr. Lagbas’ reply and comment on this alleged incident.
