Ayon kay PSA National Statistician and Civil Registrar General Dennis Mapa, pangunahing dahilan ay ang mas mabilis na pagtaas ng food at non-alcoholic beverages.
Sa data umabot sa 7.7% ang inflation rate sa National Capital Region (NCR) mula sa 6.5% noong Setyembre.
Habang sa labas ng Metro Manila, ang Davao Region ang may pinakamataas na inflation rate na 9.8% na mas mataas din sa 9.6% na naitala sa rehiyon noong Setyembre.
