“Make sure that your jails are drug-free or else face the consequence of relief from your post and possible administrative charges.”
Newly installed BJMP NCR Regional Director Jail Chief Superintendent Efren Nemeño warned jail officials and wardens in Metro Manila to make sure that their jails are free of illegal drugs.
In an statement sent to BITAG Media Digital (BMD), Nemeño emphasized the value of
professionalism among personnel in his area of jurisdiction.
Immediately after the conference, he ordered the conduct of drug tests to 188 personnel and senior officials of the region.
The unannounced drug test of NCR personnel conducted by DOH accredited testing center and
The Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency yielded negative results.
