Pansamantalang pinatigil ng Metro Manila Development Authority (MMDA) ang excavation activities sa mga pangunahing kalsada sa Metro Manila habang papalapit ang Kapaskuhan.
Epektibo ang kautusan simula ngayong araw ng Lunes, Nob. 14 hanggang Enero 6, sa susunod na taon.
Ibig sabihin, bawal muna sa mga pangunahing kalsada ang road reblockings, pipe laying, road upgrading, at iba pang excavation works.
Pero paglilinaw ng MMDA, hindi sakop sa kanilang direktiba ang pag-antala sa mga flagship projects ng national government tulad ng konstruksyon ng tulay, flood interceptor catchment project (box culvert), asphalt overlay projects, at sidewalk improvement.
Sinabi rin sa Facebook post ng MMDA na hindi saklaw ng kautusan ang pag-antala sa mga drainage improvement projects, footbridge projects, emergency leak repair o breakage of water line ng Manila Water at Maynilad water services na hindi nakaka-abala sa daloy ng trapiko.
Nakasaad sa direktiba na kailangang kumuha ng permiso sa MMDA kung gustong ma-exempted sa tigil-trabaho.
