The Land Transportation Office (LTO) on Tuesday, Nov. 15, assured that no important documents were burnt when fire hit the LTO Central Office in East Avenue, Quezon City.
A fire struck the storage room of the Quezon City Licensing Center on Sunday morning.
A total of 25 folders turned into ashes, according to Mercynita Paras, chief of QC Licensing Center.
These documents, most of which were driver’s license renewal applications. However, Paras said they had already processed the records in 2018. The LTO Ground Building Management officials said the fire may have been caused by faulty electrical wiring.
