Philippine tourism bagged another award in the 29th World Travel Award (WTA), recognizing the country’s pristine beaches as the World’s Leading Dive Destination and the Leading Beach Destination for 2022.
According to the Department of Tourism (DOT), the awarding was held in Muscat, Oman in the WTA’s Grand Final Gala Ceremony. “These global victories for the Philippines evince the unparalleled beauty of our country and the distinct warmth of the Filipino people,” said Tourism Secretary Christina Garcia Frasco.
