Ipinalilipat na ng Taguig City Regional Trial Court (RTC) sa regular na selda ang actor-comedian na si Vhong Navarro dahil sa kasong acts of lasciviousness at rape na isinampa ng modelong si Deniece Cornejo.
Sa ulat ng Philippine News Agency (PNA), ipinag-utos ng korte na ilipat sa male dormitory ng Camp Bagong Diwa sa Taguig City si Navarro na nasa kustodiya ng National Bureau of Investigation (NBI).
Ayon sa NBI, dadaan ang aktor sa mandatory medical examination, katulad ng RT-PCR test bago ito tuluyang dalhin sa Taguig jail.
Inaresto si Navarro noong Setyembre matapos maglabas ng warrant of arrest si Taguig RTC Branch 69 Presiding Judge Loralie Datahan para sa kasong rape na isinampa ni Cornejo noong January 2014.
Sa desisyon ni Taguig Metropolitan Trial Court Branch 116 Judge Angela Francesca Din, nakitaan ng probable cause si Navarro para sa kasong acts of lasciviousness na may piyansang P36,000.
Sumuko ang actor sa NBI para maglagak ng piyansa, subalit may panibagong warrant na inilabas para naman sa kasong rape.
Nananatili sa kulungan si Navarro dahil unbailable ang rape case.
