Arestado ng pinagsanib na pwersa ng Provincial Drug Enforcement Unit (PDEU) at Bangued Municipal Police Station (MPS) ang isang drug personality sa isinagawang buy-bust operation sa Abra noong Lunes, Nobyembre 21.
Sa ulat na natanggap ni Police Regional Office Cordillera (PROCOR) Regional Director, PBGen. Mafelino A Bazar, kinilala ang suspek na si Arjay Millare, 32, at residente ng Bangued, Abra.
Nakumpiska kay Millare ang isang (1) heat-sealed transparent plastic sachet ng hinihinalang “shabu” na humigit-kumulang 1 gramo at tinatayang may Standard Drug Price (SDP) (SDP) na Php 6,800.00.
Dinala ang suspek sa Provincial Drug Enforcement Unit ng Abra PPO na mahaharap sa kasong Paglabag sa RA 9165 o Comprehensive Dangerous Drug Act of 2002.
Samantala, sa magkahiwalay na anti-illegal drug operation sa Benguet, mahigit P800 libong halaga ng marijuana ang pinagbubunot at sinunog ng mga awtoridad.
May kabuuang 4,040 piraso ng fully-grown marijuana ang nadiskubre ng 1st Benguet Provincial Mobile Force Company (PMFC), Bakun Municipal Police Station (MPS) at Special Action Force (SAF).
Kinikilala at pinaghahanap pa ng mga awtoridad ang mga responsable sa pagtatanim nito.
