Arestado ang dalawang lalaki sa ikinasang buy-bust operation ng Drug Enforcement Unit ng Philippine National Police (PNP) at Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) Region XI sa Purok 20, Mc Arthur Highway, Brgy. Toril Proper, Toril sa Davao City.
Kinilala ni Police Station 8 Commander PMaj. Carol U. Jabagat ang dalawang nahuling suspek na sina John Lloyd Amistoso Alfeche a.k.a. “JOHN LLOYD”, 24 years old, driver; at John Paulo Dela Peña Unabia, 33 years old, parehong residente ng Davao City.
Nakuha sa mga suspek ang humigit-kumulang 0.69 gramo ng hinihinalang shabu na may street value na P9,700, isang unit ng Toyota Innova, at cellphone na ginagamit sa pagtutulak ng droga.
Ayon sa PS 8, isang pulis ang nagpanggap na poseur buyer sa ikinasang buy-bust operation. Nang inabot sa mga suspek ang P500 marked money, dito na nasilo ang dalawang suspek.
Nahaharap ang dalawa sa kasong paglabag sa Sections 5 at 11 ng Article II ng Republic Act 9165 o Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of the Philippines.
