Nasagip ng mga tauhan ng Southern Police District-Special Operation Unit (DSOU) sa Parañaque City ang limang babaeng Vietnamese na ginawang sex worker ng mga kapwa nila dayuhan.
Sa ulat ng SPD, ikinasa nila ang entrapment operation noong Biyernes, Nov. 25, laban sa dalawang dayuhan na nagbubugaw sa mga Vietnamese.
Kinilala ni SPD Director Brig. Gen. Kirby John Brion Kraft, ang mga nasagip na Vietnamese na sina Linh, 29; Yen, 27; Thi Yen, 27; Thuy, 25; at Coi, 31.
Naaresto sa operasyon ng pulisya ang dalawang bugaw na sina Huang Diyong, 37, Chinese national; at ang babaeng Vietnamese na si Ha Thi Ut, 26.
Sinalakay ng SPD operatives ang ginawang sex den ng mga suspek sa Bayshore I Residences sa Parañaque City.
Sa inisyal na ulat, ibinubugaw ang limang babaeng Vietnamese sa mga kapwa nila dayuhan.
Ayon kay Kraft, dinala sa SPD-DSOU custodial facility ang mga nahuling bugaw at sasampahans sila ng paglabag sa Expanded Anti-Trafficking in Person Act.
Ibibigay naman sa pangangalaga ng Bureau of Immigration (BI) ang limang nasagip na Vietnamese nationals upang isailalim sa proper documentation bago isalang sa summary deportation proceedings.
