Dalawampu’t tatlong drug personalities ang arestado sa dalawang araw na anti-drug operations ng Quezon City Police District (QCPD) noong Nob. 30 at Disyembre 1.
Ayon kay QCPD Director Police Brigadier General Nicolas D Torre III, aabot sa P421,700 ang kabuuang halaga ng nasamsam ng pinaghihinalaang shabu sa magkakahiwalay na buy-bust operation.
Kabilang dito ang 20 gramo ng hinihinalang shabu na nasamsam ng Fairview Police Station (PS5) sa isinagawang buy-bust operation sa Brgy. Great Fairview sa Quezon City.
Sa ulat ni PLTCOL Elizabeth Jasmin, hepe ng PS 5, kinilala ang mga nahuling suspek na sina Aubrey Fallorina, 41 y/o; Marichu Labajo, 34y/o; Julie Ann Austino, 38y/o, at Bobeth Vasquez, 40y/o.
Sa hiwalay na operasyon ng District Drug Enforcement Unit (DDEU), tatlong suspek ang nadakip kabilang ang drug personality na si Paolo Palma alias “Chokoy”, 22 y/o. Nakuha sa suspek ang 14 grams ng shabu na mayroong street value na P95,200.
Dalawang drug personality rin ang nabitag ng QCPD Masambong Police Station (PS 2); 11 ang naaresto ng Batasan Police Station (PS 6); isa sa Galas Police Station (PS 11); at dalawang drug suspect ang naaresto ng Payatas Bagong Silangan Police Station (PS 13).
Ayon kay Torre, sasampahan ang mga naarestong suspek ng paglabag sa R.A. 9165 o Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
“Patuloy ang ating mahigpit na kampanya laban sa illegal na droga at kriminalidad upang atin itong masugpo. Muli, hinihingi ko po ang kooperasyon ng ating mga mamamayan na magsumbong kung may alam na iligal na gawain sa kani-kanilang mga lugar,” ani Torre.
