Iimbestigahan din ng Malabon City Building Office kung may mga insidente ng paghuhukay o construction sa paligid ng residential area na posibleng nag-trigger sa pagguho nito.
Ayon sa ilang residente, may naramdaman silang pagyanig ng lupa bago tuluyang bumigay ang pundasyon ng gusali.
