Ayon kay Police Regional Office 3 (PRO3) Director PBGEN Cesar Pasiwen, kagagaling lamang ng dalawang pulis sa isang buy-bust operation nang matiyempohan sila ng limang suspek sa South Daang Bakal Road sa Dau.
Kinilala ni Pasiwen ang dalawang nasawing pulis na sina Police Staff Sergeant Dominador Gacusan, Jr. at Police Master Senior Sergeant Sofronio Capitle, Jr.
Ilang saksi ang nakakita sa pananambang kung saan limang lalaki umano na armado at nakasuot ng bonnet ang nagpaulan ng bala sa dalawang pulis.
Sa isinagawang manhunt operation ng Mabalacat Police Station, nahuli ang tatlo sa limang salarin na kinilalang sina Jun-Jun Espiritu Baluyut, 44; Aries Espiritu Bagsic, 40; at Leslie Placiente, 30, lahat presidente ng Mabalacat, Pampanga.
Narekober sa mga suspek ang isang kulay orange na Honda Click motorcycle na nakitaan ng bakas ng dugo at hinihinalang ginamit sa pananambang sa dalawang pulis.
Patay naman sa follow up operation ang isa sa suspek na nakilalang si Kiel Patrick Chua, habang pinaghahanap pa ang dalawa pang salarin na kinilala sa pangalang Kenneth Flores, at isang alyas “Pusa.”
