Tinutugis na ng Quezon City Police District (QCPD) ang isang security guard na suspek sa panghoholdap sa mismong binabantayan nitong drugstore sa Banawe, Quezon City, Martes ng umaga, Dec. 6.
Sa ulat ng Dobol B TV, kinilala ang suspek na si Eric Mercado.
Ayon kay QCPD Director Police Brigadier General Nicolas Torre III, night duty guard ang suspek sa binabantayan nitong Mercury Drugstore na nasa kanto ng Banawe St. at E. Rodriguez Sr. Avenue sa Quezon City.
Sa panayam ng Dobol B, sinabi ni Torre na alas-7:00 ng umaga nila natanggap ang tawag hinggil sa panghoholdap ng suspek.
“Mga 7 o’clock kaninang umaga naka-receive tayo ng report na nilooban itong [botika] at ang holdaper supposedly ay ikinulong ang dalawang empleyado na magbubukas ng branch na ito,” ani Torres.
Pinutol daw ng security guard ang linya ng kuryente ng botika at inabangan ang pagdating ng dalawang empleyado.
Ikinulong daw ng suspek ang dalawang empleyado sa loob ng drugstore bago ito tumakas tangay-tangay ang hindi na nabatid na halaga.
Samantala, ayo sa QCPD isang buwan pa lamang namamasukan sa Mercury drugs ang suspek.
