Mahigit isang taon matapos magretiro sa boksing, muli na namang sasampa sa ibabaw ng lona si ex-Senator at “Pambansang Kamao” Manny Pacquiao para sa isang exhibition match sa South Korea.
Makakasagupa ni Pacquiao sa loob ng six rounds match ang South Korean martial artist at Youtuber na si DK Yoo sa Seoul Arena sa Biyernes, December 10.
“It’s good to be back in South Korea,” pahayag ni Pacquiao sa kanyang social media post kahapon.
Sa kanyang Instagram, ibinahagi rin ni Pacquiao kamakailan sa isang video ang puspusang paghahanda sa laban nila ni Yoo.
Ang malilikom na pondo sa nasabing exhibition fight ay ilalaan sa mga biktima ng giyera sa pagitan ng Ukraine at Russia.
Bukod dito, gagamitin din ang ibang bahagi nito sa pagpapatayo ng pabahay para sa mga kapus-palad na Filipino.
Parehong southpaw si Pacquiao at ang 43-anyos na si Yoo, subalit mas mabigat at mas matangkad ito kumpara sa Pambansang Kamao.
“Obviously, I realize Pacquiao will be the heavy favorite,” wika ni Yoo sa The Korea Times.
“But I am bigger, and I hope to take advantage of that. I am not thinking about the result right now. My goal is to train hard and show a great athlete like Pacquiao what I am capable of.“
