Iimbestigahan ng Philippine National Police (PNP) ang posibleng pagkakasangkot ng mga tauhan ng Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) sa kontrobersyal na “recycling” ng mga nahuhuling shabu at iba pang iligal na droga.
Ginawa ng PNP ang pahayag kasunod ng pagkakahuli sa isang opisyal at dalawang ahente ng PDEA sa isinagawang buy-bust operation ng National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO) noong Martes, Dec. 6, sa Taguig City.
Ayon kay PNP spokesperson Col. Jean Fajardo, nakikipag-ugnayan na ang pamunuan ng PNP kay PDEA Director General Moro Virgilio Lazo para sa isasagawang imbestigasyon.
Mismong si Lazo umano ang nagbigay ng go-signal sa mga tauhan ng NCRPO para isagawa ang operasyon laban sa mga tauhan ng PDEA Southern District Office.
“We will look into the possibility that there are other persons other than (Enrique) Lucero who are involved in the recycling of illegal drugs. Remember that it was not only Lucero who was arrested, also included were two other agents and the driver,” ani Fajardo.
Si Enrique Lucero ang hepe ng PDEA Southern District Office na nahuli sa buy-bust operation ng NCRPO kasama ang dalawang PDEA agents na sina Anthony Vic Alabastro at Jaireh Llaguno, at driver nilang si Mark Warren Mallo.
Isinasagawa umano ng grupo ni Lucero ang bentahan ng droga sa mismong opisina ng PDEA sa Taguig City. Nakumpiska sa mga PDEA agents ang nasa mahigit P9 milyong halaga ng ibinebenta nilang shabu.
“Can you imagine, the illegal drugs are being sold right in their office,” giit ni Fajardo.
