Nadakip kahapon, Dec. 8, ng mga tauhan ng Philippine National Police (PNP) ang tatlong most wanted person ng Iloilo City na may kasong panghahalay.
Kinilala ang mga nahuling suspek na sina Kent Matulac, 20, estudyante, Joemar Diaz, 30, isang magsasaka, at Wodrew Tucar, 18, pawang mga residente ng Guimbal, Iloilo City.
Naaresto ang mga suspek sa ikinasang “Manhunt Charlie” ng pinagsanib na operatiba ng Guimbal Municipal Police, Anti-Kidnapping Group (AKG), Provincial at Regional Intelligence Unit, at 1st Iloilo Provincial Mobile Force Command (IPMFC).
Unang nadakip si Matulac sa Bgy. Cabubugan, samantalang sina Diaz at Tucar ay nasukol sa Bgy. Calampitao.
Nahaharap ang mga suspek sa six counts na rape case na walang kaukulang piyansa, at two counts ng rape by sexual assault na may inilaang piyansa na nagkakahalaga ng mahigit P200,000.
Nasa pangangalaga ng PNP Iloilo ang mga suspek habang inihahanda ang kanilang commitment order.
