Ikinandado na ng Lokal na Pamahalaan ng Taguig City ang opisina ng Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) Southern District Office kasunod ng pagkakasangkot ng mga opisyal at ahente nito sa bentahan ng droga.
Ayon sa anunsyo ng Taguig City government, binawi na nila ang gusaling pinahiram nila sa PDEA na ginawang Southern District Office ng ahensya.
Mariing kinondena ng Taguig City government ang pagkakasangkot ng mga opisyal at tauhan ng PDEA sa pagkalat ng ilegal na droga sa bansa.
Matatandaang natimbog ang opisyal ng PDEA, dalawang tauhan nito at isang sibilyan sa isinagawang buy-bust operation ng National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO) noong Martes, Dec. 6, sa mismong opisina ng PDEA Southern District Office sa Taguig City.
Humigit-kumulang P9 milyon ang halaga ng shabu na nakumpiska sa opisina ni Enrique Lucero ang hepe ng PDEA Southern District Office, kasama ang dalawang PDEA agents na sina Anthony Vic Alabastro at Jaireh Llaguno, at driver nilang si Mark Warren Mallo.
Alinsunod sa abiso ng Taguig City government, walang pwedeng pumasok sa gusaling pinahiram nila sa PDEA at pinalitan na rin ang mga guwardiya na nakabantay doon.
