Arestado sa entrapment operation ang isang kawani ng Land Transportation Office (LTO) at dalawang kasabwat nito dahil sa pambibiktima sa isang Chinese national na kumuha ng lisensya.
Inaresto ng mga tauhan Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (CIDG) at LTO ang empleyadong si Alan Villalva Madrid, 59, license evaluator ng LTO main office at dalawa umanong kasabwat nito na sina Decy Florez Tomazar, 26, at Renato Arrollado Ocampo, 26.
Ayon sa ulat ng Radyo Pilipinas, inaresto ang mga suspek sa tapat ng Dunkin Town sa 11th Jamboree St., Timog Avenue, Diliman, Quezon City.
Inireklamo umano ang mga ito ng Chinese national na si Jian Feng Cheng dahil sa pag-aalok ng mga ito na ayusin ang kanyang lisensya, pero hindi ito natupad.
Nakuha sa mga suspek ang isang LTO Complaint sheet, isang medical certificate, OR ng medical certificate, isang student driver permit, isang OR ng student permit, at marked money.
Nahaharap ang tatlong suspek sa kasong paglabag sa RA 11032 o Ease of Doing Business and Efficient Government Service Delivery Act of 2018; RA 3019 o Anti-Graft and Corrupt Practices Act; RA 6713 o Code of Conduct and Ethical Standards for Public Officials and Employees; Article 210 o Direct Bribery; at Article 315 o Swindling/Estafa.
