Bahagyang bumaba ang positivity rate ng Covid-19 sa Metro Manila, base sa huling monitoring ng OCA Research.
Sa pinakahuling update ng grupo sa social media, pumalo na lamang sa 14.3% ang Covid-19 positivity rate sa National Capital Region (NCR) noong Disyembre 14.
Mas mababa ito sa naitalang positivity rate na 14.5% noong Disyembre 11.
Ayon kay OCTA research fellow Dr. Guido David, ito ang unang datos na nakitang bumaba ang positivity rate pagkatapos ang sunod-sunod na pagtaas ng tinatamaan ng Covid-19 sa Metro Manila noong nakaraang linggo.
Sa kabila nito, iginiit ni David na hindi dapat makampante ang publiko sa bahagyang pagbaba ng positivity rate sa Metro Manila.
“Numbers next week will confirm if the trends will hold,” ani David.
Isinasagawa ng OCTA Research ang pagbabantay sa positivity rate ng Covid-19 sa Metro Manila upang ma-monitor ang dami ng kaso ng nahahawa sa virus.
Base sa Covid-19 Tracker ng Department of Health (DOH), mayroong 1,184 ang naidagdag na Covid new cases noong Huwebes, Dec. 15.
Sa kabuuan, nasa 4,052,967 na ang total cases ng Covid-19 sa bansa; 3,969,634 ang naka-recover; 18,365 ang active cases; at nasa 64,968 na ang nasawi.
