Taong 2008, eksklusibong inimbitahan ang BITAG ng mga operatiba ng Quezon City Police District-Anti Carnapping Division (QCPD-ANCAR).
Ang imbitasyon ay para idokumento ang operasyong ikinakasa ng mga operatiba laban sa isang kilabot na basag-kotse robbery gang.
Ayon sa QCPD-ANCAR, ang grupong ito ay notorious na kumikilos sa Quezon City, Mandaluyong, Pasig at maging sa mga probinsya ng Laguna, Cavite, Tagaytay at Rizal.
Nasundan ng QCPD-ANCAR ang kilos at galaw ng sindikato matapos maplakahan ng isa sa mga biktima ang getaway vehicle ng sindikato.
Natrace ng mga operatiba ang sasakyan ng notoryus na grupo.
Nang puntahan ito ng QCPD-ANCAR at BITAG, napag-alaman na isang mag-asawa mula sa Tanay, Rizal ang nagmamay-ari ng sasakyan.
Ayon sa mag-asawa, pinarentahan nila sa isang grupo ang kanilang sasakyan at lingid sa kanilang kaalaman gagamitin pala ito ng sindikato sa kanilang krimen.
