Himas-rehas ang dalawang Cameroonian nationals matapos mahulog sa bitag ng mga operatiba ng Philippine National Police (PNP) dahil sa pagbebenta ng pekeng dolyar.
Kinilala ang dalawang dayuhan na sina Marcel Tezock Wenong, 38 at Patian Leroucan, 40, parehong Cameroonian national at nanunuluyan sa Bay Bliss Hideaway Resort sa Taguig City.
Ayon sa ulat ng Southern Police District (SPD), nagpanggap na buyer ng dolyar ang mga ahente ng Taguig City Police Station para masakote ang dalawang dayuhan.
Nang mag-positive ang under-cover operation, agad dinakma ang dalawang suspek kung saan nakuha sa kanila ang isang itim na traveling bag na may laman na 15 bundle ng pekeng US Dollars.
Nakuhanan din ang mga ito ng apat na bundles ng tig-1,000 na peso bills, caliber .38 Smith and Wesson revolver, isang hand grenade, at isang 40mm cartridge.
Naglunsad din ng follow up operation ang Makati City Police Station sa isang tinutuluyan ng mga suspek kung saan nakakuha rin ang operatiba ng mga pekeng dolyar.
Sasampahan ang mga suspek ng paglabag sa Art. 168 ng RPC, RA 10591 at RA 9516.
