Suspendido muna ang pag-proseso at paglabas ng “guarantee letters” ng Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) simula ngayong araw, Disyembre 19 hanggang katapusan ng taon.
Ayon sa ulat ng GMA news online, ang suspensyon ng DSWD sa guarantee letters ay para mailagay sa ayos muna ang mga tambak na bayarin ng kagawaran sa mga hospital bills at iba pang bayarin.
Ang guarantee letter ay isang anyo ng social services ng DSWD para sa mga nangangailangan ng tulong medikal at pinansyal sa ilalim ng Assistance to Individuals in Crisis Situation (AICS) program.
“Para mabigyan ng panahon ang pagsasaayos ng mga kailangan upang mabayaran ang mga guarantee letter na unang naipamahagi sa mga kliyenteng humingi ng assistance sa AICS program ng DSWD, pansamantalang sususpindehin ang paglalabas ng mga guarantee letter simula December 19 hanggang December 31, 2022,” ayon sa ulat.
Sa abiso ng DSWD, hinikayat nito ang publiko na hintayin ang abiso ng kagawaran kung kailan ulit ibabalik ang pagproseso ng guarantee letter.
Iaanunsyo din umano sa website ng DSWD (www.dswd.gov.ph) kung kelan lalabas ang mga pending na request.
