Dalawang weather condition ang dahilan ng maulap na papawid dahil sa pananatili ng buntot ng Low Pressure Area (LPA) at Localized Thunderstorms, bukod pa sa umiiral na Northeast Monsoon o hanging habagat.
Sa Metro Manila, Western Visayas at iba pang bahagi ng bansa, magiging maulap ang papawirin at may minsanang pag-ambon o pag-ulan.
Ang Cagayan Valley, Apayao, Kalinga, Mt. Province, Ifugao, Aurora, Quezon, Rizal, Laguna, Batangas, Oriental Mindoro, at Marinduque ay makararanas din ng mga pag-ulan lalo na sa hapon o gabi.
Ang Bicol region, Eastern Visayas, CARAGA at Davao Region ay makararanas din ng kalat-kalat na pag-ulan at pagkulog-pagkidlat.
