Patay ang isang lalaki sa Davao City na suspek sa pagnanakaw ng bisikleta matapos manlaban sa operatiba ng Philippine National Police (PN) kahapon ng gabi, Dec. 21.
Ayon sa ulat ng Ecoland Police Station, itinawag ng isang Rey Gulane, 45 taong gulang ang insidente ng pagnanakaw ng kanyang bisikleta sa Caparida Compound, Brgy. 76-A, Davao City.
Rumesponde ang mga operatiba at natiyempuhan sa madilim na lugar ang isang lalaki na may dalang bisikleta.
Nang akmang lalapitan ng mga pulis ang lalaki, agad umanong bumunot ng baril ang suspek pero naunahan ito ng operatiba.
Dinala ang suspek sa Southern Philippines Medical Center, pero hindi na ito umabot ng buhay.
Narekober ng mga pulis mula sa crime scene ang isang Trinx mountain bike, isang unit cal .38 revolver, dalawang live ammunition, isang maliit na sako na may lamang electrical wires, isang black belt bag na naglalaman ng isang dalawang unit ng cellphone phone, isang relo, dalawang piraso ng transparent plastic na naglalaman ng hinihinalang marijuana, isang screwdriver, isang star screw, at isang plier.
Inaalam pa ng Ecoland Police Station ang pagkakakilanlan ng napatay na suspek.
