Daan-daang residente ng Visayas at Mindanao ang napilitang mag-Noche Buena at magpalipas ng Pasko sa mga evacuation centers dahil sa malawakang pagbaha dulot ng amihan at shearline.
Ayon sa ulat ng Philippine Coast Guard (PCG), nasa 15 pamilya ang inilikas sa dalawang barangay sa Clarin, Misamis Occidental dahil sa mataas na tubig baha.
Nasa sampung pamilya naman ang dinala sa evacuation center sa Brgy. Maningcol sa Ozamis City dahil sa banta ng flashflood bunsod ng walang tigil na ulan.
Humigit-kumulang 30 pamilya ang na-rescue ng PCG-Basilan sa Riverside, Barangay Matibay, Lamitan City sa Basilan.
Sa San Ricardo, Southern Leyte, walong mangigisda ang tinangay ng malakas na alon.
Anim sa mga mangingisda ay na-rescue ng PCG at dalawa ang nasawi.
Patuloy ang babala ng PCG at Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) ng posibleng flashflood and lnsdlise sa mga lugar na naktaas ang babala ng shearline at Northeast Monsoon o hanging habagat.
