Good news para sa mga pasahero ng Light Rail Transit o LRT.
Ayon sa anunsyo ng Light Rail Transit Authority (LRTA), maghahandog sila ng ‘Libreng Sakay’ sa mismong araw ng pagdiriwang ng Rizal Day sa Biyernes, Dec. 30.
Ito ay bilang pakikiisa ng LRTA sa paggunita at pag-alala sa kabayanihan ni Gat Jose Rizal.
Ipatutupad ang Libreng Sakay mula alas-7:00 hanggang alas-9:00 ng umaga. Susundan ito ng mula alas-5:00 hanggang alas-7:00 ng gabi.
Pinalawig din ang operasyon ng mga tren. Aalis ang unang biyahe sa Recto at Antipolo Stations ng alas-5:00 ng umaga.Ang huling biyahe ay alas-9:00 ng gabi sa Antipolo Station at hanggang alas-9:30 naman ang last trip ng Recto Station.
