Ito ang babala ng Philippine National Police (PNP) sa ilalim ng Republic Act no. 7183 o ang pagbabawal na magpapaputok sa mga bawal na lugar.
Alinsunod sa naturang batas, magtatakda lamang ng designated na community fireworks-display area ang mga local government units (LGUs) at barangay katuwang ang mga law enforcement agencies.
Sa public briefing ng Laging Handa, sinabi ni PNP Spokesperson Colonel Jean Fajardo na titiyakin ng Pambansang Kapulisan na babantayan nila ang lahat ng lansangan sa buong bansa upang hindi makapinsala ang mga pasaway na magpapaputok.
Magbibigay din umano ang mga LGUs ng authorized permit para lamang sa mga awtorisadong magbenta ng paputok.
Iginiit ni Fajardo na kanilang huhulihin ang mga nagbabangketa ng paputok lalo na kung walang kaukulang permit mula sa barangay o LGU.
Layon ng paghihigpit ng PNP na iwasan ang aberya at sakuna lalo na kung walang kaukulang safety measures ang mga bentahan ng paputok.
Kinumpirma ni Fajardo na nasa 17 indibidwal na ang kanilang nahuling nagbebenta ng ilegal na paputok.
