Siksikan pa rin ang mga bus terminals sa Metro Manila dahil sa dagsa ng mga biyaherong balik-siyudad pagkatapos ng mahabang Holiday break nitong Kapaskuhan at Bagong Taon.
Sa monitoring ng BITAG Media Digital, halos hindi mahulugang karayom ang sitwasyon sa mga bus terminals sa Cubao, Pasay at Sampaloc sa Lungsod ng Maynila dahil sa mga parating na pasahero galing ng Norte.
Maging ang Parañaque Integrated Terminal Exchange (PITX), siksikan din ang mga tao pagsapit ng madaling araw simula alas-2:00 hanggang alas-6:00 ng umaga.
Ayon sa Metro Manila Development Authority (MMDA) at Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board (LTFRB), nagkasabay-sabay kasi ang biyahe ng mga bakasyunista mula sa iba’t ibang probinsya.
Karamihan sa mga biyahero, naghahabol sa unang araw ng trabaho at klase ngayong Martes.
Bukod sa balik-trabaho, karamihan din sa mga estudyante ay balik-eskwela na ngayong araw kaya nagkabuhol-buhol ang traffic at siksikan sa mga bus terminals.
Base sa pagtaya ng mga bus companies, posibleng tumagal pa ang siksikan sa mga terminals hanggang sa araw ng Linggo, Jan. 8, dahil marami pang pasahero ang hindi pa nakakauwi dahil fully-booked and kanilang biyahe mula January 2 hanggang January 5.
