Todo-gayak na ang pamunuan ng Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) para pangasiwaan ang kaayusan sa taunang Kapistahan ng Black Nazarene o Itim na Nazareno sa Quiapo, Maynila sa darating na Lunes, Enero 9.
Sa anunsyo ng MMDA, hindi bababa sa 700 traffic personnel ang kanilang ipapakalat upang manguna sa traffic management at clearing operations sa mga lugar na dadaanan ng prusisyon.
Simula Biyernes, Enero 6, sisimulan na ng MMDA ang paghahanda sa mga rutang dadaanan ng Itim na Nazareno sa Enero 9, araw ng Lunes.
Inatasan ng MMDA ang Sidewalk Clearing Operations Group para sa crowd control; ang Task Force Special Operations ang magtatanggal sa mga obstruction sa kalsada; and Western Traffic Enforcement naman ang tutulong sa pagmamando ng trapiko; at Metro Parkways Clearing Group ang nakatoka sa street cleaning o paglilinis sa mga kalsada.
Ayon sa MMDA, magpo-poste rin sila ng 25 portable toilets para may magamit na palikuran ang mga debotong lalahok sa prusisyon.
