Nadakip na ng operatiba ng Philippine National Police (PNP) ang primary suspek sa pagpaslang sa isang persons with disability (PWD) na may diperensya sa pag-iisip sa Malolos, Bulacan.
Ayon sa ulat ng Bulacan PNP, nasakote sa ikinasang manhunt operation ang suspek na si Joshua Paul Magpayo a.k.a. “Intsik”, 18, miyembro ng street gang na Malolos Bad Child (MBC).
Sa panayam ng BITAG Media Digital (BMD) sa imbestigador ng kaso na si PSSg Alberto Escartin, si Magpayo umano ang itinuturong primary suspek sa pagpatay sa PWD na si Christopher Velasco.
Base sa imbestigasyon ng Bulacan PNP, pinagtripan ng naturang gang ang suspek at pinagsasaksak hanggang sa ito ay mapatay noong kasagsagan ng salubong sa Bagong Taon.
Nadakip ang suspek sa Brgy. Caniogan, Malolos City, Bulacan noong Biyernes, Jan. 6, 2023.
Tinangka pa umano nitong manlaban sa operatiba gamit ang sukbit na kitchen knife, pero napigil ito ng mga pulis.
Nakumpiska sa suspek ang isang sling bag na naglalaman ng isang plastic sachet na may laman ng hinihinalang marijuana fruiting tops; tatlong pirasong papel na naglalaman ng hinihinalang marijuana; isang improvised glass tube; at isang kitchen knife.
Himas-rehas ngayon ang suspek sa Malolos Police Station habang inihahanda ang kasong murder, direct assault, resistance and disobedience at paglabag sa B.P. 6 at Sec. 11 at 12 ng art. 11 ng RA 9165.
Samantala, sa hiwalay na operasyon, naaresto ang isa pang suspek na miyembro rin ng naturang gang. Dahil menor-de-edad, dinala ito sa pangangalaga ng Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD).
