Nilinaw ng Philippine Ambassador to China na nananatiling maayos ang sitwasyon ng mga overseas Filipino workers (OFWs) at mga Pinoy na naninirahan dito sa kabila ng muling pagputok ng panibagong banta ng Covid-19 doon.
Sa ulat ng state-run radio station na Radyo Pilipinas, sinabi ni Philippine Ambassador to China Jaime Florcruz na wala pa silang natatanggap na ulat na mayroong OFW o Pinoy na nahawa sa bagong variant ng Covid.
Katunayan, mahigpit umano ang kanilang monitoring sa sitwasyon ng mga Pinoy doon upang maagapan sakaling may mapa-ulat na nahawa sa sakit.
Pinaalalahanan din ng mga OFWs na ‘wag munang gumala sa iba’t ibang lugar at panatilihin ang precautionary measures at pag-iingat sa katawan upang hindi magawa ng Covid-19.
Kung kinakailangan, mas mabuti anila na manatili sa bahay o sa iisang lugar ang mga Pinoy sa China upang hindi mahagip ng virus sa matataong lugar.
Sa ngayon, pinalakas na ng Chinese government ang kanilang contingency protocols para maawat ang pagdami ng Covid-19 cases.
Ayon sa ulat, muling simipa ang bilang ng Covid-19 cases sa China dahil sa pagkalat ng panibagong variant na mas mabilis makahawa sa iba.
