Arestado ang isang dating miyembro ng Philippine Army matapos mang-hold up sa isang pawnshop sa GMA, Cavite noong January 11, 2023 bandang 1:15 ng hapon.
Nakilala ang suspek na si Michael Comutohan y Padilla, 47 years old, VIP Security, at residente ng Brgy Milagrosa, Carmona, Cavite.
Ayon kay PLTCOL Richard Dones Corpuz sa BITAG Media Digital, nangyari ang insidente sa RD Pawnshop sa Brgy. San Gabriel, GMA, Cavite.
Tinutukan umano ng suspek ang biktimang si Ma. Theresa Pinadera Azucena at nagdeklara ng hold-up. Nakuha aniya sa kanya Php 16, 000 cash, mga alahas at cellphone.
Sa tulong naman ng isang isang concerned citizen na lumapit sa mga pulis, nasundan nito ang mga dinaanan lugar ng suspek.
Sa isinagawang hot pursuit operation, natukoy ang kinaroonan ng suspek sa bahay nito.
Narekober sa suspek ang isang (1) unit Glock 23 Caliber .40, chamber loaded at defaced serial number; 2 magazines na may 24 live ammunition; tatlong (3) units mobile phones; Php15,130.00; isang (1) hand grenade; tatlong (3) plastic sachets na naglalaman ng hinihinalang shabu; 1 piece Tactical Shirt at Tactical long pants; Sling Bag, at different Identification Cards.
Dagdag pa ni Plt. Col. Corpuz, isang araw bago ang insidente, nang hold up din ng isa pang pawnshop sa Makati Camutohan ang suspek.
Kasalukuyang nakakulong si Comutohan sa GMA Municipal Police Station at sasampahan ng kasong Robbery at Possession of illegal drugs.
