Sa kabila ng plano ni Vice President at Department of Education Secretary Sara Duterte sa implementasyon ng “National Culture of Peace”, wala pa din aniya itong katiyakan kung kailan ito maisasama sa ito sa revised curriculum.
Wala pang katiyakan kung kalian ang implementasyon ng National Culture Peace, ayon kay Vice President at Department of Edcuation Secretary Sara Duterte. Ayon din kay DepEd Spokesperson Michael Poa, patuloy na gumugulong ang pag-uusapan at pag-aaralan pa ang nilalaman ng “peace culture” sa K to 12 curriculum.
“Wala pang (There is no) specific kung ano ang nilalaman ng (what will be the content of the) ‘National Culture of Peace’ – that’s the working title kasi wala pang (there’s no) official title for that or we can call it ‘National Culture of Peace’ or ‘Peace Culture’,” ayon kay Poa.
Una rito,sinabi ni Duterte sa isang conference ito sa Kusog Mindanaw Conference noong Nobyembre, na makatutulong ang National Peace Curriculum upang ituro sa mga kabataan ang pagkakaroon ng sariling pasya na umiwas sa panghihikayat ng mga terorista.
Ito aniya ang kanilang long term solution laban sa insurgency at youth recruitment ng terror groups.
Ayon kay Duterte, target nito mapalakas ang proteksyon sa mga mag-aaral at maging kaagapay sa pagsulong ng kapayapaan sa komunidad.
