Kabilang sa mga opisyal na delegasyon ng Pilipinas sa WEF ay sina Sabin Aboitiz (Aboitiz), Kevin Andrew Tan (Alliance Global), Jaime Zobel de Ayala (Ayala Group), Lance Gokongwei (JG Summit Holdings) Ramon Ang (San Miguel Corp.), Teresita Sy-Coson (SM Investments) at Enrique Razon (International Container Terminal).
Una nang sinabi ng pangulo na hangad niya na maibahagi sa mga World Leaders ang mga mahahalagang nagawa ng bansa sa pagsasaayos muli ng ekonomiya.
Malaking pagkakataon din aniya upang isulong ang bansa bilang “leader, driver of growth, at gateway sa Asia-Pacific region”.
