Isang estudyante ng Cavite State University (CvSU) ang patay habang apat naman ang sugatan matapos maaaro ng isang truck sa loob mismo ng kanilang paaralan sa Indang kahapon, Jan. 23.
Ayon sa imbestigasyon, nagbababa ng mga galon ng tubig ang driver at pahinante nito mula sa truck nang biglang umabante ito at araruhin ang limang estudyante.
“Sabi ng drayber dahil walang handbreak ito, ikinambyo nya ng reverse pero noong pagbaba nila ng tubig nakita na lang niya tumakbo… nabangga ‘yong 5 estudyante,” ani Maj. Edward Cantano, hepe ng Indang police.
Agad binawian ng buhay ang 18-anyos at 1st year college student na si Elaiza Gabrielle S. Tesoro.
Nagtamo naman ng mga sugat ang apat pang biktima na sina Fiona C. Gatchalian, Gabriel Angelo C. Magno, Denis Chloe R. Ricohermoso at Pauline E. Diga
Agad dinala sa General Emilio Aguinaldo Memorial Hospital sina Gatchalian, Diga at Magno habang tumanggi namang magpa-confine si Ricohermoso na nagtamo lamang ng minor injuries.
Nahaharap sa patong-patong na kaso ang driver ng truck na kasalukuyang nasa kustodiya ng Indang Municipal Police station.
