Sa ikinasang joint operation ng Police Regional Intelligence Division-Caraga (PRID-13) at Bacoor City Police, positibo nilang tinukoy ang naarestong si Reynaldo Betos alyas “Jabbar” and lider ng grupo. Sa Surigao del Sur at Agusan del Sur ang base ng Betos Criminal Group.
Ayon sa ulat ng mga pulis, mayroong standing arrest warrant of arrest si Betos para sa mga kasong Murder na may Criminal Case number 22-4147 noong September 06, 2022, Robbery, at Violation New Anti-Carnapping Act of 2016 na parehong inisyu Regional Trial Court (RTC) Branch 28, 11th Judicial Region, Lianga, Surigao del Sur. Walang inilaan na piyansa para sa kanyang pansamantalang kalayaan.
Sa database ng Caraga Police, nasa kategoryang Criminal Gang at Potential Private Armed Group (PAG) sa rehiyon ng Caraga ang Betos Group na nasa likod ng mga karumal-dumal na krimen tulad ng pagpatay, gun-for-hires, armed robberies, illegal drugs, ilegal na pagsusugal at pangingikil.
