Ayon sa Bureau of Fire and Protection (BFP), nauwi sa sunog ang nangyaring pagsabog sa isang laundry shop sa Fidel Reyes Street malapit sa De La Salle University alas siyete y media ng gabi.
Kabilang sa mga nasugatan sa pagsabog ang ilang mga mag aaral ng nasabing unibersidad.
Umabot sa ikatlong alarma ang sunog subalit agad din itong naapula ng mga awtoridad bandang 7:34 pm.
Lumalabas sa imbestigasyon na tumagas na liquified petroleum gas (LPG) na ginagamit ng nasabing establisyimento ang naging sanhi ng pagsabog.
Wala namang iniulat na namatay subalit nais maghain ng kaso ng pamilya ng mga biktima laban sa may-ari ng laundry shop.
Patuloy na iniimbestigahan ng BFP ang nangyaring insidente.
