Nais ni Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) Secretary Rex Gatchalian na ituloy ang pagpapatupad ng digitalization sa paghahatid ng serbisyo sa mga Pilipino na sinimulan ng dating kalihim na si Erwin Tulfo.
Ayon kay Gatchalian, isusulong niya ang digitalization sa lahat ng transaksyon ng DSWD upang mas mabilis na mapaglingkuran ng ahensya ang ating mga kababayan.
“Sinimulan na ni Secretary Tulfo, ako nagpapasalamat sa kanya na nandun na yung template — yung ease of doing social welfare, yung wag na marami pang dokumentong hinihingi, wag yung paulit-ulit, and later on we can digitalize it,“ani ng Gatchalian sa isang panayam sa Teleradyo.
Maliban dito, tutukan rin daw ng bagong kalihim ang pag aayos at pagsasala sa mga benepisyaro ng Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program o 4Ps
“May bagong technology. We just have to make sure na maayos ‘yung listahan. So ayan ang priority one natin, siguraduhin na tama ‘yung listahan. Digitalization is the end-goal, but streamlining should [precede it].” pahayag ni Gatchalian.
