Tila sumusunod si Jimuel Pacquiao sa yapak ng Filipino boxing legend at kanyang ama na si Pambansang Kamao Manny Pacquiao matapos niyang manalo sa kanyang ika-anim na amateur fight na ginanap sa Las Vegas kahapon, Feb. 5 (Manila time)
Nakabakbakan ng 22-anyos na si Jimuel ang mas malaki sa kanyang American amateur boxer na si Marco Rosales sa Fights of Fury 8.
Si Jimuel ay may timbang na 135 and a half pounds habang si Rosales naman ay nasa 148 lbs.
Subalit sa kabila nito, tinanghal na panalo ang batang Pacquiao via unanimous decision matapos ang tatlong umaatikabong two-minute amateur rounds.
“It wasn’t really that much of a difference maker because I spar also big guys in the gym all the time, so it wasn’t that much of a difference,” wika ni Jimuel sa isang panayam ng ABS-CBN Sports.
“It was good. It was fun. It was fun. A lot of historic fights happen here,” dagdag pa ng boksingero.
Inaasahang mananatili sa Los Angeles, California si Jimuel upang ipagpatuloy ang kanyang pag-eensayo sa Wild Card Boxing Club kung saan nag ensayo rin noon ang kanyang ama.
