Muay Thai superstar Rodtang Jitmuangnon will step inside the ring for the first time in the United States to defend his ONE flyweight world title on May 5.
The “Ironman” will face Mexican striker Edgar Tabares at ONE Fight Night 10 which the trilogy bout between Demetrious Johnson and Mikinho Moraes will headline.
But prior to this, Rodtang is scheduled for another fight as he is set to challenge Superlek Kiatmoo9 for the ONE Flyweight Kickboxing World Title at ONE Fight Night 8 on March 24.
The 25-year-old Thai holds a remarkable record that includes more than 300 professional fights across Muay Thai and kickboxing. He is known for being an entertaining fighter for his showmanship, durability, and hard striking.
His upcoming bout against Tabares will be his fifth title defense for the flyweight Muay Thai belt making him one of the longest-reigning World Champions of the promotion.
ONE Fight Night 10 will be aired live on Amazon Prime Video from the 1stBank Center in Broomfield, Colorado.
It is the first time the Singaporean mixed martial arts promotion will hold a live event on United States soil as it plans to expand into new territories.
