Patay ang mag-asawa matapos salpukin ang kanilang sinasakyang tricycle ng rumaragasang ambulansya sa Balayan Batangas noong Lunes.
Dead on the spot ang driver ng tricycle na si Crispin Comia, 60, barangay kagawad ng Brgy. Tactac habang dead on arrival naman sa pagamutan ang kanyang asawa na si Gavina, 62, isang guro. Agad namang inaresto ng mga awtoridad ang driver ng ambulansya na si Domingo de Leon.
Ayon sa Balayan Police Station, binabagtas ng tricycle na sinasakyan ng mga biktima ang kalsada sa Balayan Batangas nang biglang mag-overtake ang ambulansya sa sinusundan nitong truck.
Nadamay din sa aksidente ang rider ng motorsiklo na kinilalang si Ychiro Catalan, 18 at back rider nito na si Dennis Arroyo.
Kasalukuyang nasa kustodiya ng Balayan Police Station ang driver ng ambulansya habang inihahanda ang mga kasong isasampa sa kanya.
Ang sangkot na ambulansya ay pag-aari ng Batangas provincial government na maghahatid sana ng pasyente sa ospital nang maganap ang aksidente.
