Patay ang isang dating bilanggo matapos itong barilin sa harapan ng kanyang mga anak sa Hacienda Lopez, Barangay 10, Victorias City, Negros Occidental noong Martes, Pebrero 14.
Kinilala ang biktima na si Rodel Castor, 45 anyos, residente ng Barangay 10.
Ayon kay Capt. Genus David, deputy chief ng Victorias City Police Station, ihahatid sana ng biktimang si Rodel ang kanyang dalawang anak sa eskwelahan nang harangin ito sa daan ng dalawang lalaking nakasuot ng bonnet.
Dead-on-the-spot ang biktima matapos itong pagbabarilin ng mga suspek na mabilis tumakas sakay ng motorsiklo. Hindi naman nasaktan ang mga anak ng biktima.
Ayon kay David, maaaring matagal na minanmanan ng mga suspek si Castor sapagkat base sa salaysay ng mga kapitbahay, namataan umano nila ang motorsiklo sa lugar ilang araw bago ang pagpaslang.
Taong 2010 nang makalaya si Castor sa New Bilibid Prison sa Muntinlupa City matapos itong maabswelto sa kasong homicide, ayon sa opisyal.
Sama ng loob ang tinitignang motibo ng mga awtoridad sa nangyaring krimen.
