Iniimbestigahan ngayon ng Senado ang isang private aircraft na nakaalis ng bansa subalit hindi nagdeklara ng tamang bilang nga pasahero.
Base sa report, nagpumilit umalis sa Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) noong Pebrero 13, alas-10 ng gabi ang nasabing eroplano sa kabila ng pagpigil ng mga aircraft inspector. Anim lang dapat ang pasahero subalit 14 katapo ang sakay nito.
Sa privilege speech ni Sen. Grace Poe sa Senado noong Miyerkules, tinukoy nya ang private plane na may tail number N9527E. Umalis ito sa NAIA Terminal 1 patungong Dubai. Kinumpirma naman ito ng Philippine National Police (PNP) Aviation Security Group (ASG) na nagmula sa isang anonymous tip hinggil sa human trafficking.
“Let us not allow private flights in our airports as a way for human trafficking,” banggit pa ng mambabatas.
Sa General Declaration na hawak ng Bureau of Immigration (BI) ang pitong pasahero ay binubuo ng Malaysian, Korean, Chinese, Vanuatu, at tatlo pang dayuhan mula sa Saint Kitts at Nevis.
Paglalahad ng senadora, tumigil naman ang tatlong iba pang “Asian-looking nationals” sa Balabag ramp ng NAIA matapos nilang makita na kumukuha ng video ang aircraft inspector.
“However, at around the same time, the inspectors noticed three unauthorized individuals entering the aircraft followed by the aircraft door closing,” dagdag pa ni Poe.
Sinubukan din daw ng mga inspektor at ng ASG na pigilan ang pag-alis ng eroplano subalit sinabi ng isang Immigration officer maaari na itong umalis. Nang itinawag ng Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (CAAP) sa control tower na ipahinto ang pag-alis ng eroplano, isang Retired General Robles unman ang nagsabi na “hindi ito posible dahil naaprubahan na ang flight navigation clearance”, sabi ng senadora.
Ayon kay Poe, ang nasabing aircraft ay inooperate ng isang Cloud Nine No. 1 leasing Company Ltd., isang Hong Kong registered leasing company at ang assigned ground handler nito ay ang Globan Aviation Service Corporation o GLOBAN.
Sa nangyaring ito, malinaw daw na may iregularidad at policy and procedure violation ang Manila International Airport Authority (MIAA), Bureau of Immigration, PNP Aviation, at CAAP.
Sinabi naman Sen. Jinggoy Estrada, na hindi malayo na aktibidades ito ng mga sindikato ng human trafficking.
Kinondena din ito ng iba pang mga senador at umapela na imbestigahan ang mga sangkot na ahensya.
