Ayon kay Philippine National Police (PNP) chief Gen. Rodolfo Azurin Jr., natunton si Hasim ng mga awtoridad sa tinutuluyan nito sa Purok Yellow Bell, Barangay New Isabela, Tacurong City.
Nakipagpalitan daw ng putok ang suspek matapos itong hainan ng warrant of arrest dahil sa mga kinakaharap nitong kaso tulad ng murder at double frustrated murder.
Si Hashim ay sangkot din sa mga serye ng harassment sa mga patrol base ng 40th Infantry Battalion, 601st Brigade sa Datu Hoffer Ampatuan, ayon kay Police Regional Office 12 director Brig. Gen. Jimili Macaraeg.
